These bundling of articles was printed and ditributed by the Java Institute in Djokakarta.
The now famous article by Rudolf Bonnet was the first time an art connoisseur described the high level of art in Gianjar-Bali (woodcarving, silver, textiles).
He also expressed his concern that certain skills, acquired through generations, were in danger of dying out because of the increase in tourism which resulted in lower quality art products.
