Description: Pastel drawing by W.G. Hofker of a Dutch girl; Ines Naudin ten Cate
Period: 1954
Comment: Colorful and charismatic rendering of a Dutch girl. The pure drawing skill of Willem Hofker is clearly visible in this magnificent drawing. Also here Hofker uses his traditional "downward look" of the sitter, giving the drawing this typical modest outlook. This method was also used by hofker with his Bali work.
