Worked in his younger years as an architect and stone sculptor. Later he specialized in art, in particular very detailed pen drawings. His woodcarvings were lesser known.See the photo of one of his carvings; a funeral tower. He was one of the founders of the Pita Maha. He died at the age of 116.
